Why Goner?

If you are on the market for an electric scooter, here is an honest and unbiased guide. We hope you go with göner and we are the best in many ways, but maybe not for everyone!

First, there is definitely a “standard profile” for full powered adult electric scooters. These are the scooters used by sharing companies like Bird and Lime. They can get you around town with at least a 10 mile range, are portable at around 25 pounds, move at a steady 10 mph, and cost around $500. They are perfect for commuters, and we list the top ones in the table below. Our entry in this category is the göse and it can keep up with the rest of them.

Above this group are scooters we consider overkill. They have excellent battery life and carrying capacity, but at the cost of portability and price. We have linked one below that weighs over 50 lbs and costs well over a thousand dollars. Personally I don’t need the extra range so the trade offs definitely aren’t worth it. When we talk to our customers, they are mostly in the same boat.

Below this group are a sea of cheaper scooters that can be tempting if you don’t look too close. Many have compromised power or range, shoddy parts, or obsolete technology. We have linked two from household name razor below. Their cheap entries are fine for children, but are underpowered for adults, and use an obsolete battery that can take a day to charge.

Within the sweet spot göner puts special emphasis on being powerful but light. Our flagship bät scooters are 5-10 lbs lighter than the competition, while packing more power. We are especially excited about our carbon fiber bät that is only 17 lbs but both strong and flexible.

Our other emphasis is on restrained design and effortless customer service. We want to provide the same hassle free scooter experience that we wanted before starting this company. We also want products that fit unproblematically into our lives, which ties into all of our design choices.

If you share these priorities we sincerely think göner is the scooter for you, and would be honored to serve your scooting needs.
